Drawing above shows simple floor plan from 1st semesters project, which was made in REVIT. Through the whole semester we were mainly making hand-drawings, but at the very end of this semester we were introduced to BIM software - Autodesk REVIT, and we were assigned to make first digital drawing.
1st SEMESTER
In the first semester the main goal was to get an insight in the different types of drawings needed to describe a construction project.
In this semester I:

Achieved an understanding of how 2D drawings reflects 3D reality;

Gained an insight into the roles and duties of the different parties in the construction industry;

Gained basic understanding of drawing techniques and the communicative aspects of design;

Gained an insight into the different phases of a building project;
